JAY ROTH
AGE: Twenty one years old COMPANIES: Veronica's Glass Jewelry & V-Cuffs HOMETOWN: Scottsdale, Arizona
Jay Roth epitomizes the 21st century entrepreneur. With a long term focus and a very driven mindset, Jay has utilized his many resources at the University of Southern California while finishing up his undergraduate career. With a little help from his friends and a great deal of perseverance, Jay has managed to successfully turn Veronica's, the world’s only Dichroic glass jewelry manufacturer, into a recognized brand within the fashion industry. Most of his success comes from the marketing and innovation behind his products. Combining these elements in Veronica's jewelry, he calls the jewelry "wearable art". His mission: spread wearable art around the world and provide people with stunning, versatile, and colorful jewelry.

Financially burdened by the collapse of the Madoff ponzi scheme in 2008, Jay's family had to find strength in each other and fight to keep financially stable. His mother, the artist that she is, made jewelry as a hobby. After countless hours spent experiementing with different glass combinations, Barbara Roth designed a truly unique collection of jewelry. She did not encompass the business skills and experience to get her art into the hands of the consumer, so Jay was there to help found Veronica's and get it into the hands of satisfied customers across the globe. After three years, Veronica’s has become a successfully growing company, inspiring countless young entrepreneurs to follow in his brave footsteps.
In the very beginning of 2012, Jay launched VCuffs, his men's line of designer cufflinks. VCuffs feature the same Dichroic glass material that is used in the Veronica's jewelry line, which provides a similar elegance and unique flair that men can use to differentiate themselves in the office or out on the town. He hopes to expand VCuffs, just like he has done to Veronica's in the coming months, and he will stop at nothing to see that art is worn with pride around the world.
